The Faculty of Management of Comenius University in Bratislava, as a partner in the Erasmus plus project ARTCademy (http://www.artcademy.eu), organized on Thursday, September 17, 2020 in the premises of the faculty two Multiplication events for craftsmen and artisans on topics related to the intellectual outputs and the project platform presentation. More than 40 participants took part in both events.
The main goal of the Multiplication Events was to present the project and provide knowledge and tools that will serve artisan and traditional craftsmen to achieve competitiveness. In addition to the own project presentation and its outputs (craftpedia and trainings) there were several presentations like Branding and Communication, Legal Requirements for Setting up a Business, Security in Terms of Legislative Requirements, Digital and Data Literacy, Communication and Collaboration, Digital Content Creation and Digital Skills etc. in which participants had the opportunity to ask their own questions and address problems that they face in their daily practice.
ARTCademy is a knowledge-based project which aims to preserve and strengthen the European artisan and traditional crafts sector. Artisan and traditional crafts represent a valuable European heritage that must be protected and cared for. That requires the preservation of knowledge, skills and abilities of traditional and guild trades as well as ensuring the economic and commercial viability of these firms. The project consortium consists of 9 members from 7 countries (Belgium, Cyprus, Italy, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Spain).
