A logo is a graphical mark that is used to identify a company, organization, product or brand. A logo can be displayed alongside – or in lieu of- the companies’ name, in order to create awareness of the association of the company with a particular product of service. The graphic that is used may be a stylized version of the lettering of the company (such as a wordmark) or an abstract version (a shape that is unrelated to the company lettering).
